Seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to assist in managing the Nursing Department so that the highest standard of care and practice is provided.

Requirements for this position are:

•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required
•Currant registration with Illinois Department of Professional Regulations
•At least 1 year experience in Nursing Service Administration, Geriatric Nursing, or long-term area setting
•Proven Clinical skills
•Supervisory and leadership experience

Some of the Assistant Director of Nursing responsibility will include:

•Promote empowerment/ teamwork of all nursing staff in their delivery of care
•Develop skills for problem solving, decision-making and patient care management
•Assures implementation of resident care policies, resolves resident care issues and family concerns
•Identify continuing quality improvement priorities and reports to the QA committee
•Implement Nursing policies and procedures and standards of care
•Ensures State, Federal, Local and JCAHO standards are maintained to ensure quality services and resident care
